Chief Operating Officer

We are looking for an experienced and mission-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization’s operations strategy. The COO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO. The goal of the COO position is to manage the overall execution of company deliverables across departments, and manage extensive and sustainable growth. The COO will oversee an array of business operations while promoting Sensoleak’s culture, mission, and values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee operations of the company and the work of executives and managers, on-site staff and remote employees.

Oversee and manage the performance of IT, Project Governance, Customer Success Operations, Engineering, Product and Data Analytics.

Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Transform Sensoleak into a higher performing organization that sets clear, executable goals, obtains and measures results, and generates strong employee loyalty and performance.

Oversee and drive the execution of all strategic planning and internal operations while increasing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Support the design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures that ensure alignment with short and long term company objectives.

Set comprehensive data driven goals for performance and growth by functional area.

Continuously analyze internal operations and identify areas for improvement.

Manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability.

Evaluate and report on performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

Participate in expansion activities.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role.

Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development.

Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

Ability to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree.

MBA preferred.

10+ years in operations, management and leadership positions.

Experience with a variety of business functions (HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Sales etc.)

Demonstrated aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.

Technology startup experience.

O&G industry experience.
