Lan Ren, Senior Pipeline Engineer
Lan attended Missouri University of Science and Technology where she graduated with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2007.
She is a senior pipeline engineer with almost a decade of extensive oil/gas project experiences on offshore pipeline structural design and analysis, from Front End Engineering Design phase to Detailed Design phase for both single pipe and pipe-in-pipe system. She is familiar with CFR, DOT, API, ASME, DNV pipeline codes and regulations, and have strong background in data analysis including pipeline integrity risk assessments and Integrity Management Plan recommendations. In addition, Lan has 7 years of academic research experience of software developments using Visual C++ and SQL database. She is also a SAS certified programmer with strong background in advanced data modeling and statistical analysis.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time in traveling, dancing, reading and spending time with the family.
