Richard Haun, VP Engineering
Richard is a registered professional engineer and has been working in the energy industry
for most of his career after performing design and analysis work on naval submarine systems. Rick has
held positions of EVP in DCL-ES, VP in Doris, and formed several companies including OPE Inc. that
performed turnkey projects, construction installation engineering and design engineering for the oil and
gas industry.
Rick has also formed prototype development companies such as ED&M with engineering, machine and fabrication facilities. Eleven US patents and six foreign patents were awarded to Rick during his development efforts. These patents included offshore vessels, LNG pipeline and system components, mooring and lifting equipment components and deep-water pipeline riser components. Rick is now focused on Sensoleak’s analytical approaches to the physics of system response and leak detection.
