Technical Software Sales Manager

We are looking for an energetic and visionary sales specialist to provide a direct contact for external customers in the selling of our AI technology, and all follow-up activities needed to ensure good prospective customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze assigned territory for new customers and markets, and established customers and market trends.

  • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned oil and gas operators and collaborate with business development department to extend our customer reach.

  • Demonstrate product specifications to customer at the on-site location.

  • Establish excellent rapport with customers in assigned territory to gain customer confidence.

  • Conduct sales forecasts, seminars, demonstration of product specifications, and other requests for representatives and customers.

  • Ensure continued revenue growth for our solution in the US and other target territories.

  • Research and develop information on new leak detection projects.

  • Work with the management regarding customer account information, delivery times, and customer feedback on products and services.

  • Negotiate with vendors for best product prices.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

  • Valid Driver’s License. Regional travel might be required.

  • Knowledge of AI/ machine-learning/engineering.

  • Ability to learn new procedures and functions as needed, strong reasoning skills, reading skills, excellent business skills, excellent math skills, excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

  • Typing and Computer Skills including PC software, and knowledge of operating standard office machines.

  • Strong time management, organization and the ability to multitask.

  • Dependable and prompt with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Ability, confidence and integrity to take risks and work independently.

  • Flexibility to provide 24-hour support to customers when needed.

  • Extensive existing oil and gas domain experience as a sales representative.

  • Proven track record implementing software solutions for major enterprise accounts in the O&G industry or the service industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively about crucial petrotechnical information.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Curiosity to build new ways of doing business as a member of a technology startup.

  •  A bachelors in petroleum engineering is a big advantage.
