Abhinav Jain, Investments
Abhinav is currently working as an independent consultant and helping start-ups/oilfield services companies (both Private Equity and non-Private Equity backed) with end-to-end service offerings.
Abhinav was previously employed with PwC’s oil and gas investment banking group in Houston, providing M&A transactions and capital-raise services to middle-market E&P and oilfield services companies. He started his career in 2009 as an offshore seismic engineer for CGG in Singapore and later moved with Fugro to Norway. During this tenure he was involved in offshore seismic acquisition in the North sea, South China sea, Chukchi sea in Alaska, North-West continental shelf of Australia. Next, he moved to the U.S. with Schlumberger in 2010, in the capacity of a Wireline field engineer.
He obtained his M.B.A. from London Business School and The University of Texas at Austin with a focus on energy finance. He also holds an Engineering degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur in India.
