Business Development Manager
SensoLeak is hiring a Business Development Manager who has a proven track record of identifying and acquiring new customers needing Big Data Analytics/Saas solutions in the Oil & Gas industry.
SensoLeak, the leader in prognostics and diagnostics; provides Big Data Analytics/SaaS solutions to the energy industry and specializes in prevention and detection of failures in pipelines and rotating equipment.
Business Development Managers are a key driver in the continued growth of SensoLeak.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by operators, a fundamental understanding of fault & failure mitigation technologies and the ability to adopt and understand SensoLeak’s methodology to solving these problems.
With this understanding the Business Development Manager will employ effective prospecting and sales strategies to offer SensoLeak solutions to acquire new customers.
Role and Responsibilities

Engage with prospective clients by identifying and developing consultative relationships with key industry decision makers to generate ongoing new business opportunities.

Collect market data, analyze situations, qualify opportunities and provide actionable intelligence to support management decision-making.

Manage and formulate proposals and plans with focus on developing and implementing win strategies and messaging.

Engage and educate clients on Sensoleak’s product offerings, leading to new sales in targeted vertical markets.

Incorporate Customer Relationship Management systems to aid in proactive follow-up, accurate forecasting and reporting and utilize as a database for future sales opportunities.

Monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.

Work with cross-functional teams and define/organize tasks for supporting departments.

Participate in oil and gas/technology industry events, monitor relevant market trends and assess Sensoleak’s strengths, weaknesses and opportunities to inform bid/no bid decisions and investment strategies.

Develop a network within the oil and gas industry that includes joining/participating in associations and attending events, tradeshows and conferences.

Represent Sensoleak’s values of ethical behavior, integrity and follow-through on commitments to establish trust and further develop client relationships.
Skills and Qualifications

Understanding regulation.

Ability to analyze large amounts of data, form conclusions and make sound recommendations based on findings.

Possess a network of senior level client contacts and key decision-makers in the O&G market.

Expertise in sales processes and sales operations, including goal-setting and sales forecasting.

Successful track record of developing sales leads and closing deals.

Adaptability, creativity and tenacity in pursuing new business.

Proficient in MS Office products.

Proficient in operating customer relationship management systems.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train sales teams.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability developing and delivering effective presentations to clients and executive management.

Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Familiarity with leading industry SaaS, Big Data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies and products.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited four-year University.
7-10 years of experience in a Sales and/or Business Development role.
Experience in Sales in oil and gas value change (upstream/midstream/downstream).
Experience in Technical Sales (technology, software, B2B).
Experience presenting at tradeshows and industry events.
Multi-lingual (Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic) is a plus.
